Jardines de Nivaria and its commitment to sustainability: Results of the Circular Tourist Communities Project
At ADRIAN Hoteles, sustainability is a fundamental pillar of our philosophy. That is why, for the past year, our hotel Jardines de Nivaria has been part of the Circular Tourism Communities project, an initiative aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the hotel sector through efficient waste management and a circular economy.
Thanks to this initiative, we have made significant progress in reducing waste and our carbon footprint, as reflected in the results of our annual report.
Key project results:
- 56.01 tons of biowaste collected at our hotel, preventing it from being sent to landfills.
- 19.6 tons of compost produced, which can be used to enrich the soil and close the organic waste cycle.
- 470.47 tons of CO₂ emissions avoided over 20 years, thanks to proper biowaste management and methane emission reduction.
- 82.58% average occupancy rate, proving that sustainability and hotel excellence can go hand in hand.
A step towards more sustainable tourism
The Circular Tourism Communities project not only helps reduce pollution but also promotes a circular economy and responsible resource use.
At ADRIAN Hoteles, we remain committed to sustainability and innovation, implementing concrete actions that generate a positive impact on the environment and the local community.
